"you sick litte monkey" is definitely the hottest release so far this summer!!!the 1st track reminds me a bit of Coldcut, but it's got lots more than just weird cuts to it. the rest of this mini album is probably just the X-Dump at its best... straight forward, aavantgarde electronica. "Ninja Cookies" is a real masterpiece and sounds like it was a fun beat to fuck with. The "Psilodumputer Rock Remix", which Dorothy's Magic Bag contributed, is a rolling and roaaarrrring interpretation of a real classic! I just love this release! Have phun everybody and download it unless it's already playing... |

Alla får, och framförallt KAN göra precis hur dom själv känner för, det kommer ändå (förhoppningsvis) låta på ett eller annat sätt. Många tar med sig synthar som dom kan spela melodislingor på, och vissa sjunger, andra trummar... Skruvmejsel brukar ju spela trombon t.o.m! Populärt är även att leka med effektprocessorer och olika pedaler. Det finns helt enkelt inga gränser för vad man kan hitta på för kreativt när det gäller elektronisk musik - kanske just för man har kommit ifrån generella standarduppsättningen med enbart sång/trum/bas/gitarr...? Vad gäller mina egna spelningar, så har jag tyvärr försatt mig i sådant läge där min musik (oftast) är antingen för svår, eller för kliniskt enkel för att man ska kunna lägga till något (som jag upplever) bra live. Då blir det istället intressant för mig att sitta med mixer och se till att EQ'n sitter så bra som möjligt, och att volymen är så hög som den bara går (vilket oftast leder till små protester från arrangörer) ;P hähä - det är det jag håller på med i videoklippet ovan :) Nu inför min Holland-turné dock har jag införskaffat mig lite prylar för att kunna göra lite nya intressanta grejer live. Det har diskuterats möjligheten att ha Psilodump's 6 första 476-volymer till försäljning, i CDr-format, i kommande The X-Dump webshopen, men det återstå r att se om det blir aktuellt. Dessutom så saknas ju dom 3 sista volymerna fortfarande , och Psilodump har inte gjort en ny volym sen slutet av 2000. (Dvs kompletta 476-serien ska bestå av 9 volymer) Vad beträffar X-Dump promosarna (01 och 02), så kommer även dom att finnas till försäljning för billig penning, när webshopen väl är uppe :) |

Jag tänkte mest på X-dump promo 01 och 02, och även psilodumps 476 skivor, "476", "476 vol.2" o.s.v. Om jag minns rätt kunde man höra små snuttar från flera av dem på någon tidigare version av psilodumps sida, och jag minns att jag ville höra mer :P |

Psilodump's Micro_Rejv version av "Sitting Down" (original "Sitting Down on a Cloud" från 1997) kommer förmodligen att finnas med på hans kommande solonätsläpp på 8bitpeoples.com - men det är många släpp som står i kö (därbland två The X-Dump samlingar), så vi får ha tålamod :) |
